The virtual 2023 Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR) is now accepting abstracts for poster presentations. Undergraduate student researchers in all disciplines are invited to share their research with scholars from across Idaho institutions. Poster presentations will be hosted on Fourwaves, a platform for virtual synchronous presentations.

Deadline

The deadline for the initial submission form is Thursday, July 6. All that is needed for this form is the title and collaborators. Abstracts and posters may be finalized up until Monday, July 17.

The 2023 ICUR is being held virtually on Wednesday, July 19 and Thursday, July 20. All students from across the state of Idaho involved in research, scholarship or creative activity are invited to submit an abstract. The conference also provides a forum for students, faculty, staff, and the community to discuss cutting edge research topics. The 2023 ICUR includes keynote speakers, poster presentations by students from all academic disciplines, research talks, and networking events.

In-Person Reception

New this year, the conference will include in-person receptions at three campuses: Boise State University, Idaho State University and University of Idaho. The Boise State in-person reception is on Tuesday, July 18, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Micron Center for Materials Research.
