The Research Faculty at Boise State University in the Department of Mechanical & Biomedical Engineering engage expertise from across the world in order to address today’s most challenging engineering problems. Their work spans from new medical devices and biomechanics to new materials, robotics, and energy solutions, they are organized into six main research areas (Biomedical Engineering, Energy Systems, Engineering Education, Materials, and Systems & Controls) and operate laboratories and centers that create opportunities for students and collaborators to engage in high-quality research and innovation.
