Biography
My interests lie in the modeling of the physical world around us. It fascinates me to take a physical system, describe the dynamics using mathematical equations (PDEs), tell a computer how to solve those equations, and then use that data to glean all sorts of information. Massively parallel computers and GPUs allow us to solve larger and larger systems. Data science allows us to find patterns from crazy amounts of data. The intersection of science, mathematics, and programming is where I like to be!
Currently with my research advisor, we are working on fast, scalable solvers for elliptic PDEs to model geophysical processes.
