Biography

My name is Jeffrey Fairbanks, and I am a proactive Cybersecurity Software Engineer at Lawrence Livermore National Lab. I graduated early with my B.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis in Data Science and Cybersecurity through Northwest Nazarene University Honors College. Throughout my time at university, I was able to complete three research opportunities in Cybersecurity and Machine Learning both at Northwest Nazarene University and Boise State University. While not completing research, I have spent my time as a Teaching Assistant, Tutor for most Computer Science courses, and enjoy my time as a Software Engineer at LLNL. Whether it be conducting machine learning with the Australian government or rewriting cybersecurity policies for the Nampa School District, I love what I do and seek to provide my best work. Outside of school I competed in NCAA Track and Field, as well as continually enjoy rock climbing and backpacking. I have been greatly blessed with many opportunities to learn and grow, and I look forward to continuing to learn more!
