Announcing the Igniting Scholarship in Teaching Workshop!

This August, faculty in the Humanities and Social Sciences at Boise State will have the opportunity to participate in the “Igniting Scholarship in Teaching” workshop. This workshop offers:

  • Engaging presentations on teaching across the Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Interactive discussions with colleagues about advancing scholarly teaching on our campus
  • Hands-on sessions that guide you through the process of writing SoTL articles for publication

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a new faculty member, this workshop will fuel your passion for scholarly teaching. Ready to join the movement? Here’s how!

  • Help us shape the workshop! Join the Organizing Committee! We’re seeking a dedicated team to help plan this exciting workshop. Most planning occurs in the summer, and each committee member will receive a $500 stipend for their contributions while off-contract. Applications for the organizing committee close on Monday, May 6th.
  • Become a workshop participant! Stay tuned for registration details to be posted on our Google site.

If you have any questions, visit our workshop Google site or contact Michal Temkin Martinez, the conference organizer, at michaltmartinez@boisestate.edu.

This workshop is made possible by a Humanities and Social Science Initiatives grant from the College of Arts and Sciences and is supported by the Center for Teaching and Learning.
