Speech and Debate Team at Boise State
Boise State Talkin' Broncos
The Boise State Talkin’ Broncos are a comprehensive speech and debate team. They are members of the Epsilon Chapter of Pi Kappa Delta. The Talkin’ Broncos compete all across the country and are currently undefeated in the North West Conference. Boise State is considered a top PKD school, and has won numerous national championships.

Check out some photos from our 21-22 season. The Talkin’ Broncos believe in working hard AND having fun. You’ll often find us “borrowing” golf carts, roaming the streets of New York City, and going to the local roller rink. All after winning the tournament of course.

Join the forensics team!
We are always looking for talented competitors to join our program. You may join the as a “walk on” by contacting the Director of Forensics, Dr. Manda Hicks mandahicks@boisestate.edu for more information.
Application Requirements
Boise State Forensics offers performance-oriented scholarships to those students who exhibit exceptional promise in competitive intercollegiate forensics. To apply simply send an application packet containing:
- A formal letter detailing your interest in joining the Boise State forensics team
- A resume including a list of any high school or previous forensics accomplishments you have enjoyed
- A copy of your high school or (if applicable) collegiate transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation in support of your application.
Application Deadline
The applications are due each year by March 15th.
