CMEO Student Achievement Award

The Boise State University Center of Multicultural and Educational Opportunities (CMEO) Student Achievement Award is being awarded to acknowledge the achievements of students who have participated in an educational program residing within the Boise State CMEO. These programs include:

Programs within CMEO:

TRIO:

  • Educational Talent Search (ETS)
  • Upward Bound (UB)
  • TRIO Rising Scholars
  • TRIO Teacher Prep
  • TRIO STEM Scholars
  • TRIO ACES
  • TRIO Veterans Student Support Services
  • McNair Scholars Program
  • Veterans Upward Bound (VUB)

Migrant Education:

  • College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)
  • High School Equivalency Program (HEP)

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Be enrolled at Boise State University full time during the during the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters in order to receive the award.
  2. Have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.25.
  3. Undergraduate students: have a minimum of 26 credits by the beginning of the Fall 2023 semester.
  4. Graduate students: starting their first year in graduate school in the Fall 2023 semester.

And meet at least one of the following criteria: 

  • Participated in the High School Equivalency Program (HEP) and completed the GED
  • Completed Veterans Upward Bound (VUB)
  • Participated in an Upward Bound (UB), Educational Talent Search (ETS), or CAMP program for at least one academic year
  • Participated in any TRIO College program for at least one academic year by Fall 2023

AWARD AMOUNT: The award amount for this scholarship is up to $2,000 and may be awarded to the same student for a maximum of two times. Fifteen (15) awards are available this year.
