Professional Teacher Licensure
Programs in the Department of Educational Technology were designed for the purpose of advanced study and development of educational technology practitioners. Many of our students are practicing teachers who have obtained professional teaching licensure in their respective states before admission to the program, but others may be seeking licensure. It is important to note that requirements for professional teaching licensure are dynamic and vary by state. We cannot guarantee that the educational technology program will meet requirements for professional teaching licensure in your state. We encourage you to check requirements for licensure with the appropriate agency before proceeding with admission to our programs. The U.S. Department of Education maintains a website where you can locate contact information for the department of education in your state.
To the best of our knowledge, successful completion of the coursework associated with Boise State University’s Master of Educational Technology program will not satisfy current teacher certification requirements in the state of Kentucky.
