Yesterday Boise State Teacher Education hosted a Mentor Teacher Orientation for partner school districts involved with field experience placements for the 2016-2017 school year. Over 65 mentor teachers and school administrators from West Ada, Boise, Nampa, Kuna, and other surrounding school districts attended the event.
Mentor teachers were invited to discuss best practices of mentoring in a co-teaching model, review expectations of working with teacher candidates, and meet university liaisons.
