Stan Steiner, professor of literacy, is looking for K-6 teachers in the Treasure Valley who want to participate in the International Reading Association Children’s Choices Book Project. The project has identified only five sites in the nation, and Steiner was selected as a coordinator in the Boise area.
Participating teachers will help distribute books to their students to read and provide feedback. Then more than $65,000 in new 2016 books are given to participating teachers at the end of the project.
