Emeritus Classified and Professional Employees (Policy 7480)
3.4 Privileges and Benefits
A Boise State photo identification card reflecting their emeritus status;
Library privileges using their Boise State photo identification;
Privileges pertaining to the payment of course fees in which the emeritus or their spouse may wish to enroll;
A discounted parking permit;
Eligibility for membership in the Emeriti Guild;
Privileges approved by the department that may include representing the University at ceremonies, serving on committees, and listing in catalogs or in other locations;
Athletics, Morrison Center, and other campus venues/departments may offer discounts, subject to availability. Emeriti staff should contact the venue for the availability of such discounts and notify the venue of their Emeriti status; and
Free city bus pass and use of the Boise State shuttle with a Boise State photo identification card.
3.5 Rehires
If the University rehires a Classified or Professional staff member with emeritus status, all Emeritus privileges not in conflict with the rehired employment position remain.
