Structured Experience

In this learning opportunity, you are paired with a young learner from an area Title I school to engage in focused tutoring on a learner-identified academic need.

Faculty and peer mentors will support you in the planning and tutoring experiences (conducted remotely) with participant goal-setting guiding individual identity development and what it means to teach and learn. 

  • 5-10 weeks in teaching/learning experience with matched youth 
  • Goal-setting for self and for learner (complete weekly templates for progress monitoring)
  • Culminating statement for learner
