Bronco Giving Day is an annual 36-hour fundraising challenge that drives support for 200+ causes and organizations across Boise State. This exciting initiative is fueled by the support of Bronco Matchers who help create fun and incentivizing ways for more Broncos to get involved.

Bronco Matcher 101

Bronco Matchers are donors who fund the matching gifts, challenges and competitions featured during Bronco Giving Day. Matching gift challenges and competitions are a great way to get new donors involved in supporting Boise State because they help increase the size and impact of new gifts.

Each year, 40+ Bronco Matchers provide up to $250,000 in donations in advance of Bronco Giving Day. The funds are strategically allocated to support the various challenges and competitions that will be available during the 36-hour challenge.

81 Bronco Matchers contributed $291,082 of the $643,000 raised during Bronco Giving Day 2024.

2023 by the Numbers

51 Bronco Matchers contributed $253,750 of the $565,000 raised during Bronco Giving Day 2023.

48 Bronco Matchers contributed $246,250 of the $491,000 raised during Bronco Giving Day 2022.

Give Early AND Empower More Broncos

Boost participation by making your donation in advance of Bronco Giving Day to the fund of your choice. Your donation will be pooled with other Bronco Matcher donations to that same fund. Collectively, these donations will support the various challenges and competitions that incentivize donors during the 36-hour challenge.

Gifts of $1,000 or more will be set up as a named match or challenge. These gifts can be a one-time gift or split up into monthly recurring gifts.
