Some Legacies Are Built Quietly
Mark Wheeler spent 35 years serving Boise State in roles ranging from admissions counselor to interim vice president for student affairs. A Boise State alum, he built a career focused on supporting students and strengthening the university community.
Along the way, Wheeler quietly and consistently donated to scholarship funds, becoming one of the university’s longest-giving donors — the epitome of a Loyal Bronco.

For more than 25 years, Glen Walker and Caile Spear have shown their steadfast commitment to Boise State students. Recognized for their leadership-level giving, they continue to provide critical financial support to students pursuing their educational goals.
Their generosity reflects a deep and first-hand understanding of the financial challenges students face and a shared belief in the power of education to transform lives.
A Lasting Legacy in Arts and Athletics
Longtime donors Catherine Stein and her late husband, Keith, have supported the arts and athletics at Boise State in many ways. From revitalizing the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band to establishing scholarships for marching band students, supporting the construction of an indoor band practice facility and upgrading pianos in the Department of Music, their generosity helped programs flourish.
To honor Keith’s memory, Catherine recently supported the Center for Fine Arts, including the creation of the Keith and Catherine Stein Luminary — an immersive digital museum that brings global arts and culture to campus.
