Parent and Family Philanthropy Circle
Parent and family philanthropy fuels Boise State’s mission of providing a transformative education and supporting student success.
As a member of the Parent and Family Philanthropy Circle, you’ll engage deeply with the university, stay connected and serve as a valued advocate within the larger community of Bronco parents and family members.
Make a positive impact on students and their well-being by joining other committed parents and family members in the Circle.
Commitment and Courtesies
How to Join the Circle
Become a member of the Parent and Family Philanthropy Circle with an annual commitment of $1,000 or more to the following funds — or another fund that aligns with your family’s philanthropic priorities.
- Parent and Family Fund: Support the Bronco experience by improving the spaces, programs and opportunities available to all students. From enhancing the Student Union to supporting clubs and career readiness, your gifts help ensure every student can have a transformative experience at Boise State.
- Student Emergency Fund: Help provide one-time grants of up to $500 that help Broncos overcome unexpected crises and stay in school. Your support also connects students with individualized guidance and community resources, making your gift the difference between graduating on time or not graduating at all.
- Internship Support Fund: Unpaid internships account for about 65% of all placements, and many students cannot afford to take time away from work to pursue these life-changing opportunities. Your gift can help them participate in hands-on learning directly tied to their career goals.
- President’s True Blue Endowed Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to Idaho residents for four years, based primarily on financial need and merit. Your gift strengthens “go-on” rates, supports more students across the state and ensures that Idaho’s greatest potential does not go unrealized.
