Check-In for New Students

Welcome to Boise State University! We’re delighted to have you here on our campus. Please complete our check-in form so that we have the information needed to register your safe arrival at Boise State University as an F1 or J1 student visa holder. There is also space on the form to ask any questions that you may have. You do not need to complete this form if you have not entered the U.S.

When you complete this form you will be asked to upload a copy of your I-94. You can access a pdf of your I-94 through the CBP website. We do not need your travel history, just the I-94 itself. When you complete the I-94 request, make sure you use the passport that you used to enter the U.S., even if you have replaced or renewed your passport since you last entered the U.S. If you continue to have difficulty accessing your I-94 then please contact the ISS Office (internationalinfo@boisestate.edu).

If you are on a graduate assistantship or have another on-campus job and need a social security number (SSN), then you will automatically be reviewed for an SSN support letter as part of this check-in process. You can only apply for an SSN if you have an on-campus job.
