Documentary Looks at the Life of a Public Hospital

The community is invited to a screening of the 2012 documentary “The Waiting Room,” about the life and times of patients, doctors and staff at Highland Hospital in Oakland, Calif.

The free showing is at 6 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the Student Union Lookout Room. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The film will be followed by a panel discussion on health care reform in Idaho from 7:30-8 p.m.

The event is presented by the Idaho Public Health Association and the Boise State University departments of Community and Environmental Health, and Respiratory Care.
