Honors College Fee Waiver

We value all students in the Honors College, but we recognize that some students/families have more financial ability to afford the Honors fee. Therefore, in special circumstances and on a case-by-case basis, the Honors College will consider adjusting or waiving the fee. Waivers, if given, will be on a sliding scale according to the severity of financial hardship or other unforeseen, difficult circumstances. In other words, some students may receive a $100 waiver while others receive a $200 waiver. Students must submit a fee waiver by the 10th day of classes for the semester in which they hope to receive a waiver. All communications will be kept in the strictest confidence. We recognize that it may not be easy to share financial challenges, yet we want to be sure that an avenue exists for students to demonstrate that the fee would be a clear financial hardship.
