Our Mission
Greetings from the Boise State Honors College Alumni Chapter! Our mission is to keep you informed of what’s happening in the Honors College, keep you connected with your fellow alumni, and provide you with opportunities to engage with current students. Each of us had an eye-opening experience in the Honors College, where we learned about the world, each other, and ourselves. This chapter strives to continue that tradition of learning.

Ways to Get Involved
We offer opportunities for both graduates living in Boise and those making their impact across the world. Between our social and service events in Boise, opportunities to take part in our alumni panels or our mentoring program, your connection with the Honors College can be a lifelong one.
Alumni Panels
Each semester, the Honors College hosts two professional development panels for current students to ask Honors alumni questions about life after graduation. Questions typically fall into two categories — graduate school preparation and professional life — but they can expand to other topics as well.
Panels are held in-person, and any alumni in the Boise area welcome to participate. Whatever your experience after graduation has been, we welcome you to join us and share it! To see the dates of our next set of panels and indicate your interest in being a panelist, please fill out an Alumni Panel Interest Form.
Informational Interviews
This is a new opportunity that allows alumni (including those located outside of the Treasure Valley) and Honors students to connect. At least twice a semester, the Honors College encourages students to reach out to alumni for a one-time, one-on-one meeting to discuss questions about their path after graduation. If you are interested in being interviewed, please join our Informational Interview Database!
This database is meant to be evergreen, so students can access it throughout the year to find interested alumni to contact. Interviews will be completely scheduled around your availability and will typically last between 30 minutes and one hour.
Alumni Mentoring Program
The Honors College Alumni Mentoring Program connects junior and senior Honors students with experienced alumni for one-on-one professional mentorship. Through guidance on resumes, interview prep, and industry networking, you can help students confidently prepare for life after college. Click here to learn more about our mentoring program.
