Graduation

Honors students are required to meet with a staff member at least once a year, and to enroll in one Honors course per year. This consistent interaction has increased our annual number of Honors graduates.  This numerical growth is also attributable to the Honors newest staff member, Brandi Venable who serves as the College’s first full-time adviser. Venable noted about her work with students: “I am daily humbled by the tremendous hard work and dedication of the honors students at Boise State. Honors students are engaged and caring citizens in their communities here on campus, throughout the Treasure Valley, and in their hometowns. I learn so much from their willingness to share their knowledge, skills, and interests both in formal settings like the classroom and in spontaneous hallway conversations. It is truly my pleasure to serve such a dynamic and inspiring student population.”
