Payments and Billing

Cost of attendance

Planning for your college financing is an important part of the college decision. Use the Cost of Attendance Estimator tool to help you estimate your tuition, housing and other expenses.

The first housing payment

  • Due July 25
  • Financial aid will first pay student tuition/fees and anything remaining will then be applied to housing charges
  • If you have enough financial aid in loans and/or scholarships to cover your first housing payment, your first payment is paid
  • You can enroll in a payment plan that bills you for five payments per semester
  • Payments are due on the 25th of each month July through April

Payments

It’s fast and easy to pay online via your myBoiseState Account.

You can also send payments to:
Payment and Disbursement Center
Boise State University
Admin 101,
1910 University Drive
Boise, ID 83725-1246

Late payments

Payments are due on the 25th of each month. A late fee will be assessed if your payment has not been received by 4:30 p.m. on the first business day of the following month. The fee is $10 or 1.75% of the balance due, whichever is greater.

What financial aid covers

Financial aid does not cover your application fee or security deposit. It may be applied toward housing once your tuition and fees have been paid.

Balance due or refunded from financial aid

Use the Bottom Line Estimator to calculate if you will owe money or receive a refund after receiving your financial aid for the semester. The estimator allows you to enter your housing choices, enrollment, and individual information, then automatically subtracts the financial aid you are scheduled to receive.
