Boise State HR is excited to share that Governor Little has made a monumental decision signing into effect the Families First Act. This new law will impact our current Paternal Leave policy by providing eight weeks of paid leave to eligible state employees employed at Boise State University and other state agencies.
Little’s Families First Act is expected to take effect on July 1, 2020. Your policy team will be hard at work updating our policies to reflect Families First Act as we receive more details and guidance from Idaho State Division of Human Resources.
