  • Tiffany Trader

    HR Growth Team, Asst Director

    Tiffany is an Idaho native; raised on a family farm in southwest Idaho. Prior to joining Boise State University, Tiffany was a Human Resource Manager for US Ecology Idaho. She received her degree from Boise State University and holds a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and as well as a Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification. Tiffany joined the Human Resource department at Boise State University in 2011. Her favorite aspect (“why”) of the Growth Team position is providing employees with a better employee experience.

    Kip Spittle was born and raised in Wisconsin. He has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Boise State University. He started with Boise State University in 2011 working as a counselor within Student Affairs. Currently, he is the Organizational Development Manager within Boise State’s Human Resources Growth Team. His favorite aspect (“why”) of this position is shifting behaviors to a growth mindset for desired outcomes to advance team abilities.

    Tiffany was born and raised in Baker City, Oregon. Tiffany joins the HR Growth Team after 2 years of working in Payroll/Processing and the Benefits Department at Boise State University. Prior to joining Boise State University, Tiffany was an Office Manager for over 19 years engaging in Human Resource related assignments such as Recruiting, Onboarding, FMLA, Benefits, Payroll, AR & AP. She is completing her Human Resource Management Degree at Boise State University. Being new to Idaho, Tiffany is enjoying the outdoors as well as the variety of concerts that the City of Trees has to offer.

    Abel was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He holds a B.B.A. in Marketing as well as a B.B.A. in Human Resource Management. Prior to Boise State University, Abel worked as a Recruiter in both the transportation and telecommunications industry. He, and his wife Darcy, have three children and reside in Meridian. He loves to spend his free time with his wife and children renovating their home, building things from scratch and wrestling with his kids. Abel and his family love to travel, find new adventures and make new memories whenever possible. The biggest thing about Abel is that he loves to laugh and tease.

    Marusya was born and raised in Bulgaria, Europe. She moved to Idaho in 2007 to be close to her son’s family. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bulgaria and a Master’s degree in Environmental Control from Manchester, UK. Marusya joins the HR Growth Team after over 7 years working as a Benefits Specialist in the Benefits Department at Boise State University. Prior to joining Boise State, Marusya was an HR/Payroll Specialist for over 6 years at the Idaho Correctional Center and was responsible for FMLA, Worker’s Comp, Onboarding, Benefits, Payroll.     Rachel was born and raised in Bozeman, MT and relocated to Boise in 2017 for a position at Boise State University.     Trainer Associate

    Ask Me About: Performance Management, Training and Organizational Development, Project Management, Filipino cuisine, how to survive the traffic in the Philippines and Academy Award winners in foreign language films.

    Des moved to the United States in 2018 having been born and raised in the Philippines. The following year, she gained the title of Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP). Previously, Des earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.  She also earned all the academic credits required for a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from the same university.  Prior to working at Boise State University, she worked with the Idaho Department of Labor as part of the team investigating identity theft issues. While in the Philippines, she worked as a Human Resource Consultant to a leading retail company, a Human Resource Manager to a leading food manufacturing company, as well as a Program Manager to a Corporate Foundation. Although she considers herself to be an introvert who is doing the job of an extrovert, her favorite aspect (“why”) of this position is the joy of contributing, no matter how small, to another employee’s professional success.
