The other day we had the chance to visit a hunter’s education class at the MK Nature Center! Heather shared about the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, Long-billed Curlews, and the importance of knowing your target. These young future hunters were a great audience, and learned all about Idaho’s protected wildlife!
After class Heather also got a first look at the new Idaho Bird Conservation Partnership and Idaho Fish and Game (IDFG) “Know Your Target” ad, which has been printed on all hunter’s education class handbooks!!
