Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
The mathematics major at Boise State is a flexible degree designed for the expanding set of careers where math plays a central role. Graduates use the degree in jobs that prize critical thinking and analytical skills, including teaching, research, mathematical and statistical modeling, computing, data science, business management, and consulting.
Emphasis areas include:
- Applied and Computational Mathematics

- Mathematics Education (includes teaching certification)

Math and Applied Math majors may also begin the Accelerated Master’s Program to obtain an MS degree in 5 years.
