Biography
Dr. Daud Isa joined the faculty of the Department of Communication and Media at Boise State University in 2019. He holds a Ph.D. from the Grady College of Journalism & Mass Communication of the University of Georgia as well as an M.S. in Journalism from West Virginia University.
Prior to attending graduate school, Dr. Isa worked as a journalist for nine years. He worked for several print and broadcast media including international broadcaster Al Jazeera English.
Dr. Isa teaches in the areas of digital media and new communication technologies. His research explores digital and social media, social networks, semantic networks, and network agenda setting.
Outside of work, he spends time with his family and friends.
