Biography

Dr. Casper has been at Boise State since 2006. She holds a Ph.D. from North Dakota State University, an MSPR from Montana State University-Billings, and a BA in Art from Montana State University-Billings. Prior to serving as Associate Chair, she held administrative posts as the BA Public Relations Online Director, the Public Relations Programs Director, the Media Arts Program Coordinator, an Internship Coordinator, and served on university, college, and department committees. She is a Past President of the Public Relations Society of America – Idaho Chapter and served on the board for a number of years. She has served as the faculty advisor and instructor for both the Public Relations Student Society of America at Boise State and Blue House 413.

An active artist, her medium has shifted from painting to tile mosaics in recent years. She enjoys a life filled with family, her dogs, Baron and Lilu, her feisty cat, Gusty Crosswinds, 17 fish, 18 gardens, approximately 1000 home renovation projects, and unfortunately, email.
