Research and preparation
- Confirm you have been officially admitted to Boise State University
- Have paid your admissions intent to enroll fee
- Are eligible to enroll in courses for the semester the program begins
- Submit official transcripts showing most recent grades from all colleges attended
- Print a copy of your transcripts to have on hand when filling out your application. You will need to enter specific grade information.
- If you have previously attended a nursing program at another institution, obtain a letter of good standing
- If you are an ROTC student, obtain a letter of support.
- Use the list of Academic Pre-Requisites in Section 2: “Academic Pre-Requisites” to confirm you are qualified to apply
- Be ready to submit your $20 Application Fee with a credit card
Academic pre-requisites
Grade & GPA requirements
- Earn a grade of C or above in all pre-nursing courses (no exceptions)
- Maintain a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.5 (no exceptions)
- Ensure all prerequisite courses—with required GPA thresholds—are completed on time
Courses to complete before applying
All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better, and courses marked ** must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (no exceptions).
Courses that may be in progress when applying
These may be taken during the application term.Final grades must be C or above, and transcripts must be submitted by: May 30 for Fall start or December 30 for Spring start
