Philosophy Club
Our Purpose
The Philosophy Club provides a forum for Boise State students to engage intellectually, connect socially, and discuss philosophy in a welcoming environment with others who share their interest in thinking deeply about important questions. We encourage the free exchange and discussion of philosophical ideas among Boise State students and Philosophy Department faculty by regularly hosting meetings, workshops, group discussions, and guest speakers that are accessible for students of all majors and areas of philosophical interest.
Club Meetings
The Club meets Thursdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. on campus in room 402 of Albertsons Library.
Meeting formats include: informal discussions, discussion of specific texts or topics, philosophy-themed games and activities, writing workshops, panel discussions, presentations, social events, etc. For more information about what is planned for each meeting/event, please contact a club officer or visit the Philosophy Club website on CampusGroups. To get on the email list, please contact the Philosophy department or join the Philosophy Club through CampusGroups.
