Submissions for Poetry are open to one poem that was completed for coursework during the last calendar year. Submissions should not exceed 5 pages. Deralyn Owen wrote the 1st place submission in the Poetry Category for the 2022 President’s Writing Awards.
About Deralyn
Deralyn Owen is a Boise native, and is in her third year at Boise State. Majoring in Health Studies with an emphasis in Health Informatics and Information Management, Deralyn aims to join the healthcare field after graduation as a medical coder. Outside of academics, Deralyn likes to make music, cross-stitch and, of course, write.
