The 2023-2024 COVID-19 (Moderna) boosters as well as flu vaccines are available to the general public at the Public Health Vaccination Clinic. All persons 6 months and older are eligible to receive COVID and flu vaccines.
CDC recommends that everyone ages 6 months and older get a COVID-19 and flu booster vaccine each fall. More information about COVID-19 vaccines and primary booster recommendations can be found on the CDC’s COVID-19 Vaccine Boosters page. People age 65 years and older should receive one additional dose of any updated (2023–2024 Formula) COVID-19 vaccine (i.e., Moderna, Novavax, Pfizer-BioNTech) at least four months following the previous dose of updated (2023–2024 Formula) COVID-19 vaccine. For initial vaccination with Novavax COVID-19 Vaccine, the 2-dose series should be completed before administration of the additional dose.Â
The COVID-19 vaccination schedule for people who are not moderately or severely immunocompromised is detailed here. The recommended vaccine type and number of updated (2023–2024 Formula) COVID-19 vaccine doses are based on age and vaccination history.
