We are dedicated to excellence in medical imaging education, and focuses on emphasizing professional and technical expertise throughout a variety of health care environments and diverse patient populations.  The educational experience promotes health advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, life-long learning, and the development of individual professional qualities. The community, region, and state benefits from our faculty and student services through research and professional expertise.

Program Philosophy

The Department of Radiologic Sciences is dedicated to providing medical imaging technologists an educational experience, with a solid professional knowledge base augmented with:

  • Writing and computer literacy
  • Interdisciplinary educational and professional experiences in a variety of health delivery environments
  • Multicultural/Multi-ethnic appreciation and critical thought

Graduates will be awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree and qualify to sit for the ARRT credentialing examination.
