Locker and Towel Service

The Rec Center has both men’s and women’s locker rooms equipped with wheelchair-accessible showers, toilets, and saunas. Lockers can be rented at the Member Services Desk in the Rec Center.  A private all-user restroom and changing room with shower is also available to patrons at any time. This all-user restroom and changing room is located between the women’s locker room and the hallway entrance to the Aquatics Complex.

Towel Services Check Out Process

1. Purchase a daily or semester towel service at the Welcome Desk.
2. Utilize your Boise State ID Card to access towels at the Towel Tracker machine. The machine is located between the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms.
3. Return towels to the Towel Tracker machine via the return window.
4. Campus Recreation members with towel service are responsible for returning checked out towel(s).  $5 will be charged for each towel checked out and not returned.

FAQ

Q: When can I renew my locker?

A: You are able you renew your locker 30 days before the expiration date. Either online or in-person. If renewed online, towel service does not automatically renew but we can do that manually, no problem!

Q: When can I purchase a new locker?

A: You can purchase a new locker anytime.

Q: Is there anyway you can check to see if the locker I want will be available soon.

A: The Facility Manager on duty is able to access the number of lockers that will be available, but cannot guarantee that they will not be renewed and ready for purchase.

Q: I no longer need my locker, can I get a refund?

A: Refunds will need to be requested and approved by the Member Services Coordinator (recmembership@boisestate.edu) due to all sales being final. They will be in contact on whether or not you will receive a refund.

Q: How long can I purchase my locker for?

A: Lockers are currently only available to purchase up to 1 semester.

Q: What happens if I am unable to clean out or renew my locker before the expiration date?

A: Lockers will be cleaned out the weekend of the expiration date. Based off of availability of staff members, some lockers will be cleaned out later in the month. If your locker were to be cleaned out, all items will be bagged up and placed in the lost & found for 30 days behind the Equipment Desk.

Q: What if I did not receive any notification in regards to my locker expiring?

A: Members are personally responsible for their locker expiration and content. Flyers and website is updated to reflect the upcoming expiration date, along with an automated email. Account information can be accessed online or in-person!
