HCRI members have stepped up to collect and generate resources for our community during the COVID-19/coronavirus pandemic. This page contains information about how to stay informed about cases of COVID-19 in Idaho, trends in the data, which steps can be taken to reduce risks, and important resources to be aware of.
As more data become available, it is helpful to see how many cumulative cases of COVID-19 Idaho has had and how they have changed over time. The following figures provide basic information about current numbers, trends we see in Idaho, and county-level differences.
This series of maps show the total counts of COVID-19 in Idaho counties from 3/26/20 to 7/02/20.
Note: In mid-March, COVID-19 had only been confirmed in a handful of Idaho counties. A month later, the virus had spread to over half of the counties in the state. By mid-May, COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in 75% of Idaho’s counties.

These graphs show the growth of COVID-19 cases in specific Idaho counties over time. While COVID-19 cases in Idaho as a whole have “flattened”, individual counties are experiencing different rates of confirmed case increases.
Note: Twin Falls and Blaine County have relatively small numbers of new cases (evidence of “flattening”), while cases in Ada and Canyon County continue to increase.
