Knowing more about inflammation will increase our understanding of many diseases and improve our ability to cure, prevent, or manage them. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative invites applications from collaborative teams to carry out two-year pilot projects that will accelerate inflammation research.

Faculty Grant Program

Summary:

The VentureWell Faculty Grant Program provides funding to support the development of programs and classes that focus on technology entrepreneurship and STEM innovation.

Focus areas include:

  • Tech-based entrepreneurship
  • New materials & green chemistry
  • Renewable energy, water, agriculture, waste
  • Tech that addresses poverty alleviation & basic human needs
  • Biomedical & healthcare innovation

GenCyber

Call for Proposals

Summary:

The GenCyber program strives to be a part of the solution to the Nation’s shortfall of cybersecurity professionals by offering summer cybersecurity camp experiences for students and teachers at the K-12 level. The goals of the GenCyber Program are to:

  • Increase interest in cybersecurity and diversity in the cybersecurity workforce of the Nation.
  • Help all students understand correct and safe on-line behavior.
  • Improve teaching methods and cybersecurity content for K-12 curricula.

Rapid Response Research

Summary:

The goal of NASA EPSCoR is to provide seed funding that will enable jurisdictions to develop an academic research
enterprise directed toward long-term, self-sustaining, nationally-competitive capabilities in aerospace and aerospace related research. This capability will, in turn, contribute to the jurisdiction’s economic viability and expand the nation’s base for aerospace research and development.
