Story Collider Faculty Workshop
As you may have heard, the NSF awarded Krishna Pakala, Anne Hamby, Eric Jankowski, and Sara Hagenah a recent proposal to improve engineering student outcomes through personal storytelling in partnership with The Story Collider. They are excited to invite faculty to their first Faculty Workshop, Tuesday, August 9 from 9 am-5 pm in the Stueckle Sky Center’s Skyline Room.
They will be working with the theory and practice behind personal storytelling that goes into live shows and podcast episodes, led by Erin Barker, Executive Director of The Story Collider. Recently one of the graduate students, Kamryn Parker, was featured. It’s a great way to network with local and national experts around narrative communication in science curricula.
Please email Krishna, Anne, Eric, or Sara if you are interested and they will send you a calendar invite. Also, please suggest any other colleagues who you think may be interested in this opportunity and they will be happy to reach out to them.
