The Center for the Study of Aging’s Family Caregiver Navigator (FCN) team recently attended the Idaho Commission on Hispanic Affair’s (ICHA) first annual Idaho Hispanic/American Indian Health Care Conference. The conference, hosted by the College of Southern Idaho, brought together a diverse group of healthcare providers, community-based organizations, policymakers, educators, employers, Hispanic and Tribal leaders and community members united in their commitment to advancing healthcare equity among Idaho Hispanics and American Indians.

Assistant Professor Dr. Taylor Neher and graduate researcher Adrian Rodriguez showcased their research regarding Hispanic public health programming and Hispanic caregivers. Through an engaging workshop, an informative poster and a stimulating discussion panel, they shed light on the unique challenges faced by Hispanic communities and shared valuable insights on successfully engaging Hispanic populations.
