Bio

Simran Crowley believes the world would be a better place if more people knew how to navigate conflict with empathy and curiosity. That belief is at the heart of everything she does. As a faculty member in the conflict management program, Simran loves working with students and creating spaces where people feel safe to be themselves. Her students often share that what makes her stand out is how real she is. She shows up authentically, shares her own struggles, and makes it okay for others to do the same. She strives to model the skills she teaches.
Simran’s work is rooted in the idea that conflict, when approached with the right tools and mindset, can lead to deeper connection and lasting change. Her background is in mediation, with years of experience in the domestic sphere- working with families navigating divorce and child custody. These days, she focuses more on community and workplace dynamics, offering consulting, mediation, and training for organizations that want to handle hard conversations better and build stronger teams.
She brings a blend of practical skills and personal insight to her work. She holds a graduate certificate in user experience research, which sharpened her ability to really listen and respond to people’s needs, and she’s currently wrapping up her master’s in leadership. Her academic background in conflict management, communication, and gender studies reflects a lifelong fascination with people and relationships.
Simran didn’t take a traditional path to get here. She dropped out of high school, then found her footing in college, where she became a top student and received awards for her leadership. Her journey gives her a deep well of compassion for people figuring things out as they go and a real belief in second chances. As a second-generation Indian-American, she also brings a lens of cultural awareness and empathy that helps her connect with students and clients from all walks of life.
Outside of work, Simran is raising two young daughters with her husband. They spend as much time as they can outside- camping, exploring Idaho’s hot springs, and soaking up the local art, food, and music scene- with their dog happily in tow.
