The Frank Church Institute is honored to announce Elizabeth Prelogar, former Solicitor General of the United States, will receive the Frank and Bethine Church Award for Public Service. General Prelogar, an Idaho native and Boise High School graduate, will return to Boise to discuss her experience representing the United States before the Supreme Court of the United States, reflect on the responsibilities of public service and share insights from her remarkable career at the highest levels of the legal profession.

About the Award

The Frank Church Institute Award for Public Service, presented by Boise State University’s Frank Church Institute, honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional public service. The award has recognized notable figures such as Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. in 2013, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta in 2016, and Idaho native Gregory C. Carr in 2024.
