Vertically Integrated Project course brings homelessness scholar to Boise

Gregg Colburn, author of “Homelessness is a Housing Problem” will visit Boise State at 9 a.m. on Nov. 9 in the Bishop Barnwell room in the Student Union. Instructors Vanessa Fry and Krista Paulsen will provide local context and information for students about how to join their Housing Opportunities for All Vertically Integrated Project course this spring.

Vanessa Fry is director of the Idaho Policy Institute and associate research professor in the School of Public Service.  Associate Professor Krista Paulsen is program lead of urban studies and interim program lead of environmental studies in the School of Public Service.

Fry and Colburn will also be panelists at a City Club of Boise forum “Housing for Wellbeing and Economic Prosperity” later that morning.
