Boise has initiated a planning process called “Boise’s Energy Future” to consider the adoption of community-wide goals that address climate change issues, reduce energy use or transition to renewable energy sources. The Idaho Policy Institute, in collaboration with the Energy Policy Institute, conducted a citizen survey to better understand these community-wide goals and concerns related to Boise’s Energy Future. On February 22nd, 2019 the team presented the survey results and analysis to Boise’s Energy Future stakeholders group to establish a better understanding of community views on related areas that the plan will address.
