Try New Things
Think about it. Your next great thing could be just one tiny step outside your comfort zone. It’s OK to start with a baby step – like talking to someone at the Involvement Fair and taking them up on their offer to check out the first club meeting. Or maybe stretch your stride and try rock climbing at the Rec. All it takes is that first step. You can do it.
Campus is buzzing with events and activities to experience. Keep this calendar on your radar, and you’ll always be able to find something new to try.
From sewing machines to 3D printers, vinyl cutters and some pretty amazing technology, the folks in the MakerLab can help you learn how to make any ideas you have come to life. Learn a new skill, or take your hobbies to a whole new level.
Boise is known for it’s adventure lifestyle, and we have a whole program built to help you experience that. The Campus Recreation’s Outdoor Program offers guided trips – or equipment rental if you want to go it alone – to help you get out and try something new.
