Finding someone to talk to
Sometimes what you’re dealing with is too big to figure out on your own. Boise State has a host of professionals to help you work through your challenges. Here are a few places to start.
Counseling Services
Work with a licensed counselor or psychologist to tap into your strengths and address concerns that might otherwise keep you from reaching your goals. They offer individual, multi-person couples, and group counseling.
Gender Equity Center
The Gender Equity Center team is supportive, compassionate and eager to help. They have two licensed master social workers that provide no-cost, confidential support services like case management, advocacy, resources and referrals to counseling. They specialize in helping students – and all campus members – with issues related to identity, gender, relationships, and difficult life transitions.
Conflict Management Resource Center
If you need help working through a conflict with someone in your life – your roommate, a family member, team member or co-worker – the Conflict Management Resource Center can give you some tools and guidance to move forward.
