Physical Health

Staying active is an important part of a balanced life: it helps you fight illnesses, reduces stress, boosts your energy and can even help you meet people. Fortunately, Boise State—and the wider Boise community—offers so many ways to keep your body in shape and stay healthy.

Campus Recreation

Boise State’s Recreation Center (aka “the Rec”) is our epicenter for all things physical health. From rock climbing to swimming to basketball, you can find it at the Rec. And if you’re a full-time student, you automatically have a membership! If you don’t know where to start, we recommend trying out a fitness class, going on a trip with the Outdoor Program, or joining a club sport.
