Film and Television Arts

About Boise State Film

The Film and Television Arts program provides theoretical and practical courses in a variety of cinematic production areas, either through a liberal-arts based degree or a professionally-oriented degree.

The program emphasizes experiential learning through projects such as the Narrative Television Initiative, in which majors participate in every aspect of the creation of a sequential television series, from writing the pilot to entering the finished series in national television festivals.

Actor Database

The Boise State Film program wants to cast you in upcoming productions! Help us, help you.

We are creating a database of acting talent in the Treasure Valley for future student projects that coincide with their schooling. This database will be a source for Boise State student producers/directors to review actor profiles and offer roles in upcoming productions.

All ages, gender identities, races, abilities and skill levels are welcome.
