What is The Junction?

The Junction is a university-wide effort to strengthen Boise State’s capacity for business innovation, research translation, and venture creation. We provide the resources, expertise, and connections needed to turn an idea into a successful venture.

From Idea to Impact: How We Support Innovation

At The Junction, we bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and real-world solutions.

  • Fueling Innovation: We offer incubation space and entrepreneurial programs that empower faculty, students, and community members to turn ideas into ventures.
  • Technology Transfer: Our team provides market validation and tech transfer support to help you move from a promising concept to valuable intellectual property.
  • Prototyping Resources: Get hands-on with your ideas. We’re working to create a centralized network of campus makerspaces and labs for all your prototyping needs.
  • Launch Your Venture: We provide a lean accelerator programs designed to guide researchers and students through the process of building and launching a startup.
  • Regional Networks: We partner with alumni and industry leaders to build a strong ecosystem and drive economic development in our region.
