Pitch Formats

Traditional: Students pitch their own business ideas to a panel of judges.

Reverse: A “reverse pitch competition” flips the traditional format. Rather than pitching their own business idea, participants choose a real-world problem posed by industry partners to help solve real-world challenges in their fields of interest. With guidance from problem sponsors and mentors, student teams work to develop innovative solutions and refine them through research, customer discovery, and validation.
