We are pleased to announce that the Office of the Faculty Ombuds is recruiting a new Faculty Ombuds to the team for the 2022-2023 academic year. All full time faculty (tenured, tenure track, clinical, lecturer, and research faculty) are eligible to apply. The Office of the Faculty Ombuds provides impartial, informal problem-solving support and conflict management to all faculty within the Boise State community.
The Office of the Faculty Ombuds provides a vital service for all faculty members by answering questions, providing feedback, mediating differences, and being a confidential resource where faculty can go just to consider their options. Simply put, it is where to go when you don’t know where to go.
The time commitment varies and is dependent on the needs of the Boise State faculty community.
All application materials must be received no later than Friday, September 30, 2022 for consideration. Finalists will be recommended to the Provost by October 15, 2022. Applications and any questions may be directed to facultyombuds@boisestate.edu.
