Group Campus Visits

Yes! We are so excited to welcome you back to campus for Group Visit programming.

We offer group visit programs specifically for K-8 students and 9-12 grade students each semester. You can view upcoming group visit dates and register using the previous links. Due to staffing and high demand from high school seniors, we are unable to accommodate additional group visits outside of these scheduled dates. 

If these dates don’t work for your group, you are more than welcome to check out campus using our Self-Guided Tour and Audio Tour, which provide insights into key campus locations, student life, the City of Boise, and dining options! Many groups have found bringing a speaker to be helpful when listening to the audio tour.

If you are bringing a bus or oversized vehicle, (more than 8 feet tall or 20 feet long) such as a passenger van, please complete this form so we can request alternative parking accommodations on your behalf. Requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to your visit date.

You should receive parking instructions with drop-off, pick-up, and other day-of details at least 1 week prior to your visit.

Group visit programs have limited capacity and can fill up quickly. We encourage groups to register as early as possible to secure their spot.

Dates for fall group visit programs are typically posted in July, and dates for spring programming are typically posted in November.

Agendas for each event can be found on the elementary & middle school and high school group registration pages. While schedules vary, all group visit programs include self-guided opportunities to explore campus, learn about Boise State, and connect with University staff and students.

Lunch is not provided during these programs. If you would like to eat at one of the two dining halls on campus, please reserve in advance by completing the group reservation form and reviewing the guidelines.

Due to size and structure of our group visit programs, we are unable to arrange individual academic department visits for groups. You are welcome to reach out to departments directly to inquire about their group visit options.

To respect the privacy of our students and minimize disruptions, groups are not permitted inside of the residence halls. We thank you for your understanding and encourage you to check out the Housing and Residence Life page for pictures, videos, and information regarding residence hall options.

Please plan to arrive on campus at the noted check-in time in the event agenda. This will allow time for you to park, check-in, and give your students plenty of time before beginning their visit.

We recommend students wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, so they will have the opportunity to explore campus during the self-guided portion of the program.
