    Sam is advised by Dr. Cheryl Anderson. Her research focuses on Celtic cultural identity during the Late Iron Age in Europe and Southwest Asia. Sam is particularly interested in how cultural identity is reflected in burial practices and whether there is continuity across these geographic regions.

Her research is in bioarchaeology with a focus in the bioarchaeology of inequality and exploring how the connections between SES (socioeconomic status) and health are reflected in the osteological record. She hopes to further explore this using data from the Museum of London (Wellcome Osteological Database).

    Lorraine, advised by Dr. John Ziker, is examining the collaborative dynamics at Boise State through thematic and social network analysis. Her research maps out the natural trends in various forms of collaboration, setting a baseline to assess changes during and after network interventions, with a focus on faculty engagement in addressing Idaho’s Grand Challenges.

    Casey is advised by Dr. Allison Wolfe. He is interested in the paleozoology and zooarchaeology associated with the megafauna of the Pleistocene epoch, as well as the evolution of hominins and other mammals throughout the Cenozoic.
